Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training (PTLLS)
This is a nationally recognised teaching qualification which is awarded through OFQUAL regulated awarding body ProQual. It was previously known as PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).
This course is designed for those who would like to start teaching or who are already teaching but need a nationally recognised teaching qualification. The course covers the generic teaching skills that are required in becoming an effective teacher or trainer.

How is the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training assessed?
The Centre uses the e-portfolio system Quals Direct that will manage all of the evidences and assessments.
The candidate will complete 2 mandatory units.
The qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria. The learner will need to prove their theory and practical knowledge within their portfolio of evidence and their 20 minute micro teach session.

The total cost for this qualification including registration and certification is £400.00
How long does the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training last for?
Once you have gained this qualification, you will not have to do the same one again.

Having achieved this Level 3 Award provides opportunities to progress on to other teaching, assessment and internal quality assurance qualifications.
